Accessibility Statement
Scope and ownership
This website is run by the project FORTITUDE team at the University of Sheffield. Both the University and the project are committed to making the website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Using the website
The website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. This means that you should be able to do things like: -
navigate the website using just a keyboard
navigate the website using speech recognition software
zoom in without the text spilling off the screen
listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
Further work will be undertaken over the coming months to fix some of the accessibility challenges and ensure our compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA standards is improved.
