What age is the age of criminal responsibility?

We created a scene in Adventures with Lex where a child is stealing a mobile phone.

Lex asked children to tell us what they think happens to a child who is caught stealing, and how old you have to be before you become responsible for breaking the law.

A lot of children (64%) knew the age you become responsible for breaking the law is 10.

But a lot of them thought that you could be sent straight to prison, which isn’t right!
