Creating Maps
Before lockdown, children and young people involved in the project were involved in creating maps of the places they go in their everyday lives.
These are a some examples:
What did you find out from this?
Children and young people told us about the places they go, the things they do, and some of the things that happen there.
They told us about school, home, supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, roads, streets, religious places, parks, outdoor leisure facilities, sports clubs and other out of school clubs, as well as the online/digital world.
What will you do with this information?
We can use these as places as settings for describing scenarios where rights violations or legal problems might occur.
These scenarios will be further developed through talking to children and young people, and then built into our game-based resources.
